Application and admission

The IRMIA ++ Graduate program is open to master students (see associated master tracks) and PhD students in IRMIA++ teams. The training is mandatory for PhD students who are funded by ITI IRMIA++, and also in order to obtain the Mobil'ITI Master grant.

Selection criteria include (in order of priority): academic achievement, motivation specific to the objectives of IRMIA++, any experience demonstrating the ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary manner, and a potential to actively participate in IRMIA++ activities.

Application process

The application process includes an application on an online form and, after examination of the application, an individual interview.

The online form opens your application for the Graduate Program (DU) "Mathematics and Applications: Research and Interactions", and for the Mobil'ITI Master grant if you wish. It does not replace your application in Master or PhD.

You will need to upload the following documents on the online form:

  • A resume
  • A cover letter
  • Full latest transcripts
  • If you are applying for the Mobili'ITI master grant, the grant application document dated and signed.

Before completing the online form, please ensure that you have already applied for a master track or doctoral program.

Application deadline for academic year 2025/2026: April 1st, 2025
The individual interviews will take place in Summer 2025.
