You wish to begin a PhD in an IRMIA++ team

PhD positions

Each spring, several PhD positions are opened.

Please visit the PhD position page, or contact directly the researchers you wish to work with.

Support for installation

Eligible expenses: Installation assistance and reimbursement of registration fees for incoming PhD students.

Intended for: PhD students entering the IRMIA++ teams, whatever their thesis funding.

Indicative amount: The (cumulative) amounts are defined by the Mobil'ITI program as follows

  • Funding of travel and installation expenses (except for students who have completed the previous year in a higher education institution in Strasbourg):
    • Students coming from a country in the European zone: 500€.
    • Students coming from a country outside the European zone: 1 000€.
  • Reimbursement of registration fees: Actual registration fees up to 500€.

You are already a PhD student in an IRMIA++ team

Short missions

Eligible expenses: Travel, accommodation or registration to a conference, a seminar, a symposium, a summer school.

Intended for: PhD students of IRMIA++ teams, whatever their thesis funding.

Indicative amount: The amount is fixed by the Mobil'ITI program at a fixed price between 150€ and 1 000€ (to be defined).

Laboratory experience

Eligible expenses: Funding of travel and/or installation for a temporary research mission (laboratory experience or mission) of a PhD student.

Intended for: PhD students from IRMIA++ teams, whatever their thesis funding.

Indicative amount: The amount is fixed by the Mobil'ITI program at :

  • A fixed amount of 1 500€ for a mission in Europe,
  • A fixed amount of 3 000€ for a mission outside Europe.
